Pets

Pets are a work of art themselves, with their beautiful loving expressions, and eyes that melt all our hearts.

I love to photograph these amazing beings with all their love, wisdom, soul, and beauty. Animal's eyes reflect the warmth of their hearts. I sometimes think that people wouldn't talk to each other if they didn't have dogs to walk, or cats to talk about. I can't walk down the street without someone commenting on my cute pooch, Maestro. Then, of course, this leads to more conversation, a smile or two, and then you feel like everyone in the world is a friend.

Photos of pets are sharing wallet space with photos of children and other family members. When I say I'm a pet photographer, out come the pet photos. and not just one, but dozens. Look at the effect our pets have on us...what wouldn't we do for them.

People

I keep my photography simple and straightforward, using the subject as the focal point. The pet becomes the art, allowing the simple beauty of the animal to come through. Faces fascinate me. I love the character of each face, and the person behind it. Working with the camera is a a duet, with both the photographer and the subject creating a harmony of the subjective and objective

Photography has always made my world theatrical, musical, humorous, dramatic, mysterious, and full of adventure. Creativity is a never ending process.
